Series: Social Norms, Networks, & Movements

This three-part blog series is probably the most popular writing I published during my time at Pax Fauna.

Part 1 argues that the Price, Taste, Convenience theory of change for alt protein adoption neglects the importance of social norms in determining food choice.

Part 2 explores the relatively young literature on social network theory to propose a more complete theory of food choice.

Part 3 considers whether the impact of social movement strategies (e.g. protest movements like Black Lives Matter) can be explained by social network theory what this means for animal advocates.
