Social movement strategist at the intersection of farmed animals and digital intelligence.
I design, launch, and evaluate high-impact campaigns that shift public priorities and build the political will to address neglected problems. I’ve spent the last 10 years running campaigns, conducting original research, founding organizations, and advising major philanthropic portfolios.
About me:
I’m the co-founder and former Executive Director of Pax Fauna and Pro-Animal Future, sister organizations I grew from concept to a combined $1M budget (and growing) and national influence in the U.S. farmed animal movement. My work has included:
Designing and directing campaigns that mobilized hundreds of volunteers, became top political issues in a major US city, and shifted national strategy across the farmed animal space.
Advising one of the largest US/UK farmed animal grantmakers on portfolio design and grant evaluation.
Conducting and publishing original quantitative and qualitative research that, together with reports and blogs, have reshaped the discourse around farmed animal advocacy strategy.
Over the past two years, as artificial intelligence has emerged as both the greatest opportunity and greatest threat for human and animal advocates alike, I have been preparing for a strategic pivot. My new focus is on helping advocacy organizations supercharged their work with frontier models as well as bringing my social and political organizing experience to the field of AI safety, alignment, and governance.
Soon, I’ll be posting new writings on the strategic imperatives of both sectors and what we can learn from each other. In the meantime, if you know your advocacy org or alt protein startup is missing out on the AI revolution, let’s talk.
